A few years ago we purchased Encore and were and still are very excited about what he produces and his potential. Curt Gedney shared with us that in 2008 he not only had the best histogram on his entire ranch but he felt he was the top cria born that year. He has a great phenotype from his head to his feet. Curt felt that his fiber has great density, a soft buttery feel and a very uniform crimp style through out. He had not been used much in the past so we have put him to work... lots of progeny with long staple length, softness and crimp!
